
Certification Mark Use Policy
I. POLICY PURPOSE.
This Policy establishes the rules and requirements for use of all ISO India trademarks and certification marks.
II. ISO India CERTIFICATION MARK OWNERSHIP
The following organizational trademark is owned and controlled by ISO India:
III. AUTHORIZED USE OF ISO India CERTIFICATION MARK
ISO India grants permission to use the ISO India Certification Marks to ISO India certified business, product, individual, organization, or entity that have satisfied all applicable ISO India credentialing and certification requirements. Each ISO India certified business, product, individual, organization, or entity is authorized to use only the Certification Mark which represents the appropriate certification and credential.
Each ISO India certified business, product, individual, organization, or entity may use the appropriate ISO India Certification Mark in business, product, individual, organization, or entity materials such as business cards and email signatures.
Non-Assignability and Non-Transferability
Permission to use the certification mark is limited to the certified, and shall not be transferred to, assigned to, or otherwise used by any other business, product, individual, organization, or entity.
IV. ISO India CERTIFICATION MARK VIOLATION REPORTING
Following receipt of information that an inappropriate or unauthorized use of the Certification Mark may have occurred; ISO India will determine if responsive action(s) will be taken, including the following:
- The alleged inappropriate or unauthorized mark use will be reviewed.
- If a policy violation may have occurred, ISO India shall communicate to the individual(s) and/or organization(s) involved, requesting that they cease the unauthorized use.
- If the policy violation is not corrected, appropriate legal actions or sanctions shall be taken, including certification suspension or termination.
